The Staff Selection Commission conducts the SSC MTS exam to recruit aspirants for the various posts such as Peon, Daftary, Jamadar, Junior Gestetner Operator, Chowkidar, Safaiwala, Mali, etc.
The candidates who are planning to apply for SSC Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) Recruitment must be aware of SSC MTS Exam Pattern and Syllabus in order to crack the examination. SSC MTS Exam Pattern consists of 2 Papers followed by document verification. Those candidates who are qualified in all these three stages will be appointed as SSC MTS staff.

SSC conducts SSC Multi-Tasking Staff Exam (MTS) exam every year in 3 different stages:
SSC MTS Paper-I Exam Pattern: SSC MTS Paper-I is an online paper having multiple choice questions in sections: Reasoning, English Language, Numerical Aptitude and General Awareness. The entire paper is of total 100 marks and 100 questions and needs to be completed in a time span of 90 minutes.

SSC MTS Paper-2 Exam Pattern: Paper 2 will be a descriptive test in which candidate has to write short essay or Letter in English or any other language mentioned under the 8th Schedule of the Constitution.

Marks – 50 Total Time : 30 minutes
Aspirants who meet the SSC MTS Cutoff will be eligible for further stages of selection. Candidates who are qualified in both stage 1 & stage 2 will be called for document verification. Candidates must carry the following documents while appearing for document verification:
1. 10th class certificates
2. Proof of Identity such as Pan Card, Aadhar Card, Voter ID etc.,
3. Date of Birth Certificate
4. Passport Size Photographs
5. Category Certificate for the Reserved Category Candidates
6. Proof of Residence
Note:
· a. Photocopies of the certificates will not be accepted.
· b. The original certificates will be returned after the verification.
